Terms and Condition for Instrumental and Vocal Lessons

1. Fees will be reviewed annually. Invoices will be submitted via email by the teacher to the

parent/student.

2. Payment for lessons is due in advance at the start of each term and must be made within 14

days of receiving an invoice. If payment is not made within this 14 day period the teacher reserves

the right to suspend any further lessons until payment is received and pursue the debt. Lessons

missed through late payment of fees will not be made up or refunded.

3. Parents/Students must pay for books, external examination fees (upon agreement) and

accessories such as strings, plectrums and tuners.

4. There will be 30 lessons per academic year. Divided into 10 lessons per term with breaks for half

term and school holidays.

5. Lessons missed by pupils will not be made up unless adequate notice is given to the teacher to

rearrange their schedule. There will be no credit given to pupils who take holiday during the term.

6. Should a lesson be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the teacher such as

illness or closure due to snow they will take all reasonable steps to make it up. However there is no

guarantee this will be possible.

7. In the event of unforeseen closures lasting more than two weeks the teacher will provide online

tuition, reschedule these lessons or not invoice for this period.

8. If you wish to discontinue lessons written notice must be given at the earliest possible

opportunity.
