MEET YOUR TEACHER

Georgie is an experienced exam tutor, RGT registered Guitar Teacher & AOTOS Vocal Coach with over 20 years experience as a private & peripatetic music tutor throughout The London Borough of Bromley - Kent, UK. She teaches in a variety of settings including school classrooms, adult evening courses and one-to-one lessons at her home studio. She has a Bachelor of Arts, is accredited Grade 8 and has enhanced DBS certificates to work with both children and vulnerable adults.

BACKGROUND

Georgie spent her early childhood singing, was classically trained on the piano, acted in musicals and composed. By her teens she was writing songs and mastering the guitar. Since then Georgie has been in many bands & duos, toured and released her own material as a performing artist. She has sung on live radio, directed musical theatre shows in London, acted in principal roles and worked extensively as a vocal coach/guitar tutor throughout London. 

CAREER

Today Georgie is a multi-instrumentalist, recording artist and professional songwriter of 26 years with many publishing credits including EP releases, licensed works and artist cuts. She is involved in songwriting sessions with up-and-coming artists as well as hosting local workshops. Georgie regularly volunteers her time at Mind.org to bring music to those struggling with dementia or mental health.

PUBLISHED

Currently she is one half of the award-winning Cooper/Jones songwriting collaborative and works with lyricists and singer/songwriters around the world to produce and demo original works for showcasing. Georgie has 75 releases on Spotify, Amazon music and YouTube.

VOCAL PRODUCTION

Georgie specialises in all aspects of songcraft including co-writing, artist development, arrangement, structure and song appraisals. She works closely with fellow songwriters to produce quality multi-use demo recordings of their works in ProTools that they can use to present to labels, sync companies and publishers. Students can book recording sessions with Georgie to produce show reels of their abilities to send to agents/casting companies.
